10 Craft Ideas To Do With Bluey Coloring Pages

Here are 10 affordable, fun, and creative craft ideas you can do with your completed coloring page!

10. Bluey Toilet Paper Roll Figures

To make Bluey toilet paper roll figures, you will need blue construction paper and toilet paper rolls (as you might have guessed).

You’re going to start by wrapping the toilet paper roll with blue construction paper so that it’s totally covered.

Next, you’ll cut out two arms and two legs and attach them to the toilet paper roll (arms about mid-way up the roll, legs can be flat from the bottom so that Bluey is “sitting”).

Then, you will print out and color in a Bluey face, complete with eyebrows and ears; cut it out and paste it to the front of the TP roll.

9. Masks Or Crowns

You can turn my Bluey pictures into adorable masks or crowns – this is the perfect activity for a Bluey-themed birthday party!

You’ll pick a picture where Bluey and her friends’ faces are featured prominently; print that out and have the kids color in just the top half of her face (just above his nose).

They’ll then cut out along the edges of where they colored.

If making masks, you can poke two holes on either side of Bluey’s face and attach string; if making crowns, glue the Bluey face to a strip of construction paper that has been looped.

8. Charm Bracelets (And Other Jewelry)

You can also turn my Bluey pictures into charm bracelets – you’ll just need shrink sheets, which you can find on Amazon for less than $10.

Print off the figures you want to turn into charms onto the shrink sheets and have your kids color them in with markers.

They’ll cut them out and punch holes near the top of Bluey’s head. Bake them per the instructions and let them cool.

You can attach them to the bracelets using little O-rings and pliers. These charms can also be used to make necklaces, earrings, and anklets!

7. Party Decorations

Bluey is a popular character for parties nowadays, and it’s no wonder. However, you don’t have to spend much money on party decorations if you use my pictures cleverly.

For example, you could color in and cut out three to five Bluey figures, tie them up together, and create bunting to hang on a wall or over a doorway.

You could use shrink sheets to make cupcake or cake toppers, or party favors (see my instructions for keychains below!).

You could also use my toilet paper roll figures as place settings or as part of a table centerpiece.

6. Keychains

To make keychains, you will need shrink sheets, plus any keychain accessories, like clips, O-rings, etc.

You’ll print out the figures you want to use onto the shrink sheets and have your kids color them in with markers.

They’ll cut them out and then punch holes where they want the keychain accessories to attach.

Bake the cut-outs per the instructions and let cool completely. Once they’re ready, you can affix the accessories.

Hang from backpacks, purses, or even shoelaces!

5. Doorknob Hangers

To make Bluey doorknob hangers for your kids’ rooms, you will need to use a picture where the character is mostly up and down – no limbs askew.

You’ll need construction paper, upon which you will trace the shape of the doorknob hanger – a long rectangular body and then a hook up the top. Cut that out and set it aside.

Have your kids color in, cut out the Bluey figure, and then paste it onto the hanger.

Let the glue dry completely, and you have yourself a new doorknob accessory!

4. Bookmarks

To make bookmarks out of my Bluey pictures, you will likely want to resize the images so that the figures are small enough to fit a four-inch by eight-inch or 10-inch rectangle.

That’s the size and shape that you’ll cut out of construction paper or cardstock; then, color in, cut out, and paste the Bluey figure onto the paper.

You can top it off with a hole punched through the top, a yarn tassel, and any stickers or glitter glue.

3. DIY Greeting Cards

My Bluey pictures are ideal for DIY greeting cards, be it for a baby shower or a birthday.

You can color in, cut out the characters, and paste them to the front of the card; write your message both inside and out, and you just saved yourself something like $5!

2. Mini-Storybooks

Your older kids who love Bluey can look at the pictures and make up a story to go along with them.

They can color in the illustrations, write a few sentences on the page (or on the back), and then bind the pages in a three-ring binder or using a binding bar.

1. Wrapping Paper

My Bluey pictures would make adorable wrapping paper for a small item, and instead of using the illustration as is, you could make it a smaller, repeating pattern.

To do this, you will need to copy and paste the picture from its original PDF format into a word processor document.

Then you can resize the picture and copy and paste it as many times as you need to fill the page.

Space the pictures out evenly over the page; you can even digitally color in the picture before you copy and paste it.
