Tarisland is a new free-to-play MMORPG from Tencent with various classes, and choosing the best class for you is important for your game experience. Tarisland classes are very balanced, which is why you should choose the class that you like the most. All classes have unique abilities and playstyles, so you need to read Tarisland Classes — Overview to understand what fits you best.

However, no matter how good the balance is, in any game, some classes will always be stronger, and some will always be weaker. That's why we created a Tarisland class tier list. In this tier list, we gathered information from players who have been playing since the beta and continue playing after the release. This helps us to create two tables with tier lists for PvP and PvE.

Classes - Short Overview

Before choosing the Tarisland best class, we will provide a brief overview of each class. In this game, you can choose from a variety of diverse classes, each bringing its own style and strengths to the battlefield:

• Warrior: It is a frontline class with two specializations: Rage for damage and War Shield for tanking damage.
• Paladin: Holy guardians with two specializations: Guard for healing and protecting, and Justice for dealing damage with axes and hammers.
• Priest: Support class with two specializations: Faith for dealing more damage and Pray for healing.
• Bard: Music-based class with two specializations: Solo for dealing damage and Harmony for healing.
• Shadow Swordsman: DPS class with two specializations: Cunning for stealth killing and Duel for agile and precise attacks.
• Ranger: Ranged combat specialists with two specializations: Tamed Beast for summoning and Hunting for marksmanship and precision strikes.
• Mage: A classical mage with two specializations: Frost and Flame, both focused on dealing damage.
• Barbarian Fighter: A fighter class with two specializations: Thunder for dealing damage and Frozen for tanking damage.
• Phantom Necro: It's a summoner with two specializations: Soul Snatch for dealing damage with summons and Soul Healing to heal teammates.

We divided the Tarisland class tier list into PVE and PVP lists because raids and arenas require different qualities. Understanding which class provides the best experience is essential.

PVP

If you have played MMORPGs or other games with PVP before, you probably know what PVP is. But if this is your first time playing a game like this, we will explain what PVP is for you. PVP stands for player versus player, a type of gameplay where there is competition between two or more players. In our case, it refers to Battlegrounds and Arenas, where you need to kill enemies and survive.

In Tarisland we have two PVP modes Battlegrounds and Arenas. In Tarisland PvP Battlegrounds, we have 10 vs 10 fights with objectives that vary depending on the map you are playing on. If you prefer shorter and more intense battles, you can always join an Arena match. Arena matches feature 3v3 battles where your primary objective is to eliminate your opponents. Your gameplay strategy will vary depending on your role (DPS, Tank, or Healer).

PVE

We already talked about PVP, and now we want to explain what PVE is. PVE stands for player versus environment, a type of gameplay where players, either solo or with others, face NPCs (non-player characters). In MMORPGs, these are often referred to as mobs and bosses.

In Tarisland, we have two main PVE activities: Dungeons and Raids. As mentioned, mobs and bosses are central to these activities. In dungeons, you will primarily kill mobs to level up. In raids, you will face bosses, which are the main challenge in most MMORPGs. We don't place any class in the C-tier because, in the game, there are no weak classes for PVE.

Understanding the Tier List Hierarchy

S+-tier

This tier is for the best of the best Tarisland classes in the entire game. The difference between S-tier and S+-tier is small, but S+-tier classes are a little stronger. S+-tier classes are the most effective in Tarisland.

S-tier

S-tier is a top Tarisland class tier, for classes that dominate the rest. These classes perform well in Dungeons, Raids, and Arenas.

A-tier

A-Tier is a good class tier for strong classes that don’t dominate but are still very good. These classes provide a good game experience and, in some situations, can perform like S-tier classes (especially with good teammates).

B-tier

B-tier is an average class tier. Classes in this tier can be useful but have limitations that prevent them from being higher tiers. If you choose to play these classes, you will have an average experience.

C-tier

C-tier includes classes where you will have the worst experience among all Tarisland classes. These classes have low DPS and are hard to master. However, as mentioned before, the game has good balance, so you can still have a good experience with these classes.
